Important Details
A few important details to help you plan your stay and ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience at Casa Selva Azul.
Reservations are confirmed upon approval by our team. Once your reservation request has been approved, you will receive your Rental Agreement for electronic signature and instructions to complete payment and finalize your reservation.

Payment may be made by credit card through Stripe, Zelle, or direct bank deposit / bank transfer.
Credit-card payments may be subject to the applicable processing surcharge disclosed at the time of payment. Zelle and direct bank deposit are available without a Casa Selva Azul credit-card processing surcharge; any bank or wire fees are the responsibility of the guest.
We understand that travel plans can change.
Cancellations made at least 30 days before check-in are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made between 10 and 29 days before check-in are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 10 days before check-in are non-refundable.
Any payment-processing, credit-card, bank, wire, or other transaction fees incurred by Casa Selva Azul in connection with the original payment or refund may be deducted from the amount otherwise refundable.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your reservation against unforeseen circumstances.
A refundable security deposit is required prior to arrival. The required amount varies depending on the accommodation reserved and will be clearly disclosed during the booking process before payment is requested.

Following check-out, the property will be inspected and electricity consumption calculated. Any applicable charges will be deducted from the security deposit, and the remaining balance will be refunded promptly.
Electricity is billed separately based on actual consumption. Each accommodation is equipped with its own private electricity meter. Meter readings are taken at both check-in and check-out, and guests are charged only for the electricity consumed within their accommodation at a rate of US$0.35 per kWh.
Electricity charges will be deducted from your refundable security deposit following check-out, with any remaining balance refunded promptly.
Casa Selva Azul is equipped with a backup generator to minimize disruptions during occasional utility outages.

Casa Selva Azul is perched above Playa Cosón on the beautiful Samaná Peninsula, offering the privacy of a secluded hilltop estate while remaining just minutes from beaches, restaurants, and local attractions.
A 4-wheel drive vehicle or UTV is strongly recommended, as the final approach to Casa Selva Azul follows a rural country road.
Complimentary gated parking is available throughout your stay.
Your co-host will personally welcome you upon arrival, provide the keys, introduce you to the property, and answer any questions to help you settle in comfortably.
